Strategic Plan 2026-2029

Singing Cedars’ 2026–2029 Strategic Plan sets a shared direction for the next three years. It builds on the work of our 2023–2026 plan and reflects what we have learned, the needs of our school today, and the hopes our community has shared for the future.

Developed with input from families, teachers, school leadership, and the Board, the plan was approved by the Board in August 2026. It calls us to strengthen the foundation of Singing Cedars so the school can grow with purpose, stability, and care.

The plan is organized around five pillars:

• Sustain and Grow Our Campus for the Future — Ensure our campus, buildings, and land support the school’s long-term educational vision and provide a safe, welcoming environment.

• Invest in Program Quality and Teacher Development — Support strong teaching and a rich Waldorf-inspired education through professional development, mentoring, and thoughtful program planning.

• Cultivate Strong Family Partnerships — Build a clear and supportive family experience through meaningful communication, shared expectations, and strong relationships.

• Deepen Community Engagement — Strengthen Singing Cedars’ relationships with the wider Fairfield community through authentic communication and lasting connections.

• Strengthen Organizational Stewardship and Governance — Support the sound governance, financial stewardship, and leadership needed for the school’s long-term stability.

This planning process continues to be led by the Strategic Planning Committee in partnership with the Board of Directors and school leadership. Tremendous time, effort, and care went into the development of this strategic plan and we appreciate everyone who has been a part of this vital process in support of Singing Cedars School.
